Personal project illustrating ancient images of mythology.
I enter the path drawn by the primitive people and the reverence they felt for animals. Sacred beings, masters of the fundamental laws. And how sacrilegious could it be to turn our back on their tracks and teachings.
The loss of admiration and respect to the natural world makes us fall in the alienation of one of the deeper dimensions of being: the experience of the surrounding world full of mysteries and supernatural forces. The breaking of the sacred connection between man, nature and supernatural.
This images attempt to rescue its meaning, reopening them allegories in order to reveal its vivid and nutritious core. Taking away its profound meaning implies and leads us to disconnect the flow of energy in our lives. We need to rescue the ineffable mystery of the sacredness that our ancestors gave to animals.Digital Art, Illustration, Character Design2013
